This article is about the rules of Bones Underground. For Wiki rules, see Policies.

The Rules of Bones Underground are a general list of expectations for all players while playing Bones Underground or engaging with its community. Most rules are subject to admin discretion.

No Harrassment[]

Harrassment is defined as unwanted or unwelcome behavior that is ongoing and persistent in nature that may make another player feel uncomfortable or distressed.

Punishment is subject to admin discretion and may consider the perpetrator's intention to annoy, threaten or demean the victim, repetition and severity of the unwanted action and prior admin involvement.

Impersonation may also considered a form of harassment. This includes creating similar names to a player or using another player's name following a name change. This is subject to admin discretion.

No Discriminatory actions[]

Please be aware of and respect individual differences and experiences.

Players are prohibited to use offensive language on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender & sexuality. Hate speech and slurs are unacceptable and are subject to punishment at admin discretion.

Obvious attempts to circumvent this rule by using slight variations of slurs and other offensive terms will still result in a mute at admin discretion. These rules may also apply to titles, guild names, ranks & descriptions.

No Scamming[]

Admins may choose to reverse trades at their discretion, Admins reserve the authority to determine whether or not a situation/trade was a scam, and whether or not it should be reversed.

If you have buyers remorse, that doesn't make it a scam. Players should make informed decisions regarding all item trades.

No Autoing[]

This ranges between simply weighing down the CTRL button and using an auto script or botting. All forms of autoing are punishable with jails or bans depending on number of offenses and admin discretion.

If an admin checks on you when you are engaging in combat, training, fishing, or mining, you must reply.

Failure to do so will result in at minimum a 5 hour jail for first time offenders. Second time offenders will get a short ban. (3-7 day minimum) that will progress into longer bans for repeat offenders and may lead to a permanent ban.

These are general guidelines and are subject to admin discretion.

No Multi-Combat.[]

Multi-combat is defined as a situation where a player is doing more than one activity at a time, on multiple characters. Where an activity is defined as combat, fishing or mining.

A given player is permitted to do ONE activity at a time on ONE character. (Where an activity is defined as combat, fishing or mining.)

A single player cannot occupy two spots at a time, players are also not permitted to leave a character at one location and another character at another NPC Spawn spot as this may appear to external observers as both NPC Spawn Point are occupied.

Attacking one NPC on multiple characters at the same time is not permitted.

Failure to comply may result in your character being jailed or banned for multiple offenses.

No Real World Trading (RWT)[]

Real World Trading in this context is defined as exchanging items, services & accounts related to Bones Underground for Real World Currency or items or services external to Bones Underground.

Players are prohibited to advertise the intent to or commit the act of buying, trading, selling, sharing or transferring access of items or any other game-related features to another Bones Underground Account or player through transactions involving the use of real money, items or services.

Account selling, item selling or exchange of services related to Bones Underground accounts will result in the account and associated items being deleted and any involved parties being banned.

No Account Theft[]

Account theft is defined by coming into possession of an account that does not belong to you via keylog, chat leak or any other malicious method.

Account theft is strictly prohibited. If an account is deemed to have been stolen, the account will be banned, removed or confiscated and returned to its rightful owner. Further consequences for the offending party apply, subject to admin discretion.

No Kill Stealing[]

Kill Stealing (KSing) is defined as beginning to hit a monster after another player has already lowered the NPC health to "yellow" health or lower.

Kill stealing is not allowed on Bones Underground and offenders will be punished by jailing or banning at admin discretion. Kill Stealing does not apply during official spawn events hosted by admins,

Please note that kill stealing is not defined by location. NPC spawn points & training areas do not 'belong' to a player regardless of how much time they have spent there.

No Begging[]

This is defined as repeated or bothersome requests for currency, items, help leveling, or adminship.

Admins cannot help train you, or give you any Bones/items. Admins are also not obligated to provide teleportation services to in-game locations.

No Spamming[]

This applies to both public and global chat. It is up to admin discretion if they believe you to be spamming.

PM spamming is also not allowed. Spam names are also not allowed. (Example: lllllllll, llllljllii) These names will be warned and asked to remake their characters with a proper name. Failure to comply may result in a ban.

No Advertising[]

Advertising in this context is defined as promoting or trying to persuade Bones Underground Players to play on another game, be it through actively sending links to our players, through global/PMs, or through our discord server.

Other servers cannot be advertised on global. You can talk about other servers, however just not with the intent of recruiting our players to play. Linking to malicious or offensive websites on global or our discord server is also prohibited.

No Exploiting Glitches[]

All glitches and bugs must be immediately reported to an admin. It is important that you do not spread information about the glitch to other players.

If you become aware of a glitch, exploiting it in any way is a serious offense that may result in a ban or jail.
